It really confuses me how this is a bird
But this is also a bird
But this is a bird, too
and also this
People are always talking about cats like “wtf even are cats” and “how are cats real”
but we should really be talking about birds.
Wtf are birds?
I think this video might interest you guys.
4 days ago, Olivia Olson confirmed that Marceline and Bonnibel have dated before. The reason it has been confirmed is because the new Adventure Time book coming out soon may have details on their relationship, and their relationship obviously can’t be aired on TV because some states of America (and countries in the world) are against same-sex marriage and relationships.
But yeah, they have indeed dated before.
Can we also talk about official Bubbline art drawn by Natasha Allgeri, former character designer and story board artist for Adventure Time, and now showrunner of Bee and Puppy Cat!?
do people against self dx think that mental illness only becomes real when it is diagnosed by a professional?
what about if they misdiagnose you, do you have that instead?
do you think the majority of professionally diagnosed mentally ill patients had no idea they were even ill (or with what) before they sought treatment?
do you value the opinion of a non mentally ill doctor over a community of people with similar illnesses to diagnose and support an undiagnosed person?
do you believe undiagnosed people are undeserving of support if they cannot afford professional diagnoses?
i’m not devaluing the importance of doctors and mental health professionals, but i would like you to please consider why you place more stock in the judgements of someone you meet with once a week for 30 minutes as opposed to a person or group of people with similar experiences and a personal knowledge of their own illnesses and disabilities.
Girl meets world addresses Cultural appropriation
Honestly this franchise has been on-point since the ’90s.
Seriously, I called vixyish after this episode aired to be like GIRL MEETS WORLD JUST EXPLAINED CULTURAL APPROPRIATION IN A WAY THAT WAS NOT ALL ABOUT HOW RILEY WAS A BAD PERSON FOR MAKING A MISTAKE, BUT HOW SHE SHOULD STILL CUT THAT SHIT OUT.
I am so happy with this show. Like, seriously, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
GMW WINS ALL THE POINTS.
CINEMATIC MILES MORALES COSPLAY
Yo! My name is Nikolas A. Draper-Ivey…This is cosplay as Cinematic Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider Man. This suit was made by Jesse Covington ( Writer and Costume Designer) and sewn by Sasha Williams ( Fashion Major graduate). Photos were taken by Pierre BL Brevard I specifically would like to thank Marvel Comics Artist Sara Pichelli for designing this character. I’m also very excited to see Olivier Coipel's work on Spider-Verse!
(Full shoot will be shot in New York itself just in time for NYCC)
These are all beautiful, and some of them look like they could be Alex Ross paintings, love love love these.
This is ridiculously incredible. In absolutely everything. Costume design and construction, the performance of the cosplayer, and the direction and execution of the photographer are all impeccably executed.
Douglas Adams is the best when it comes to describe characters
they need to teach classes on Douglas Adams analogies okay
“He leant tensely against the corridor wall and frowned like a man trying to unbend a corkscrew by telekinesis.”
"Stones, then rocks, then boulders which pranced past him like clumsy puppies, only much, much bigger, much, much harder and heavier, and almost infinitely more likely to kill you if they fell on you.”
"He gazed keenly into the distance and looked as if he would quite like the wind to blow his hair back dramatically at that point, but the wind was busy fooling around with some leaves a little way off.”
"It looked only partly like a spaceship with guidance fins, rocket engines and escape hatches and so on, and a great deal like a small upended Italian bistro.”
"If it was an emotion, it was a totally emotionless one. It was hatred, implacable hatred. It was cold, not like ice is cold, but like a wall is cold. It was impersonal, not as a randomly flung fist in a crowd is impersonal, but like a computer-issued parking summons is impersonal. And it was deadly - again, not like a bullet or a knife is deadly, but like a brick wall across a motorway is deadly.”
You forgot the best one though-
"The ships hung in the sky in much the same way that bricks don’t."
1. buy them new clothes and other accessories to make them feel more comfortable
2. slam dunk the old clothes into the nearest donation center where they belong
3. respect your child’s identity and use whatever name and pronouns they want you to use
